Viewing user documentation on mobile devices

SMART recently started using Quick Response (QR) codes so that you can use a QR code reader to access documentation on smart phones and other mobile devices, such as Apple iPhone and iPad, as well as Android, BlackBerry and Windows devices. We recognize that mobile devices are fast becoming an important tool for accessing user documentation for our products. Some of our upcoming QR code implementation initiatives include the following:

• Mobile access to online help systems

• Mobile access to animated instructional videos

• QR codes embedded in SMART software products to complement links to context-sensitive online help topics

• QR code cards that ship with SMART hardware products as an alternative to printed user documentation

• QR codes on smarttech.com/support to provide mobile access to the SMART website’s support pages
